Anyone Deal with Customs at JFK?

I am planning to bring a tortoise in from Europe, via JFK. Has anyone ever done this specifically at JFK? Wondering about your experience and precisely what you did as far as documentation, physical pickup, inspection, etc...

Be careful when bringing tortoises from other countries. They might have parasites/diseases that are not native to tortoises in your area. Especially if It’s wild caught.
