I'm starting to think i put this in the wrong section its a pet store that you can physically walk into /thread ? or move it to the right section if there is one

We have been there several times. Some of their turtles/tortoises look okay, but the Russian tortoises that we saw looked unhealthy and my son noticed that their eyes looked crusty.

Most Russian tortoises are wild caught. That's why most you see in pet stores look sickly. But with the help from tfo and a vet they can be fixed right up. If you want to buy a tortoise buy one from a breeder. Not a pet store . You'll get a healthy animal. Plus you will not be funding the tortoise poachers . If they can't sell them nobody will take them out of the wild . But that's just wishful thinking on my part .
