I just happened to see a picture of one and found them to be really beautiful. I was just curious if anyone had them here and if so what their care is like?

It seems as though the ads I saw were all for wild caught. Is this the only ususal way to find them?

There are CBs out there Dee of 2 subspecies, Rhinoclemmys pulcherrima incisa and R.p.manni. They pop up on kingsnake quite often.

Only major different thing in care from box turtles, is they like water, you can also find them up for adpotion. Either way you go, they are neat little turtles

Is it only the warmer climate woods that don't hibernate? Are there some that do?

There aren't any Rhinoclemmys species that hibernate. Our North American wood turtle, Glyptemys insculpta, does hibernate and would be a good choice if your looking for a turtle that hibernates Dee.
