are cc cages good for a smaller species

Hi I want to know if a cc cage ( the cages they use for guinea pigs) are good for a small species of tortoise (greek Hermanns Russian or medium-size species like a red foot)

What do you mean by "cc"? I use closed chambers, but the cages in your pics are open topped.

Closed chambers of that size would work well for any baby of any species, but those cages are too small for an adult of any species.
