every greenish with black?!?!?!

The store here has one listed as Golden but he doesn't look very golden to me!

My son is thinking about getting him, we feel bad he's been there for months and the last month or more (at the least) he's been in a tiny enclosure that's about 14" x 14". Sick and sad. But I held the Greek today and he looked good and was nice and heavy.

Golden greeks are only Golden greeks when they have an all yellow head and a black moustache,
Dealers have just grabed onto the name Golden greek and use it for every greek that comes in now.
It's probably an Antakyan greek, Testudo graeca antakyensis Kelly. :D

Okay good to know!! I knew it couldn't be a Golden because it had no yellow. Poor guy has been there for ages... he's got potential! We'll see what happens!
