Are Leopard Tortoises available in the South East Asia Region?

Hello
I am a huge fan of tortoises and particularly interested in Leopard Tortoise breed.
I live in Malaysia and this region is very near to to equator.
Since Leopard Tortoises are from Africa, and they are tropical tortoises I was wondering if any Malaysian members here can care to tell me whether they are easily available in Malaysia.
I have not owned a tortoise before, and I would like to own one, and be my companion. I think it would be a good experience.
Please let me know.
