Are Springtails Bad for Me or My Tortoise's Health?

I bought this indoor plant soil, but I think that it contains springtails, because I have noticed these little white things hopping around on it. I have kept the soil and plants in a tub with the lid closed, because I am propagating some succulents using it. Occasionally, I open the lid to see the plants progress, but I'm worried that some get out. The tub is in the same room as my tortoise. Will the bugs hurt or annoy her? Do I need to get rid of the soil or should I leave the lid off and let the springtails on to her table?
Thanks,
Mia.

Springtails are fine and don't harm the tortoise. They actually help clean up feces and leftover food bits. A lot of people add them to their enclosures intentionally.
