Hello! I've had Tonto (1 year old Hermanns) for just over a week now but over the past few days he's taken to climbing upon absolutely anything he can and flipping himself over onto his back. loads

I caught him once rapidly flapping arms and legs and righted him, but the past two times I've found him upside down he's been still which leads me to think he's been there for a while.

Is this normal behaviour? He's in a huge table but will literally do it on a daily basis - if not on a wooden arch he has for shelter it's by trying to climb the actual table walls.

Getting v worried as its all the time!

a little bit of flipping over is normal in younger tortoises some do it more than others I think yours is going to be the one that does it more than others. Yours seems to be a flipper I would remove anything he couldb possibly climb on
