Ahhhh just soooo cute!! I want one! I want one! lol. Seriously those are some adorable shots. I take it, the grass is no longer taller then him/her?

Ya the grass is still taller lol. He/she is inside, but is taken out for sunlight and grass. I couldnt resist snapping a few shots. That was the first time outside.

how do you get the pics so clear and perfect? lighting? setting on camera? steedy hand? whats your secret?

all my pics of lititle ones always come out really bad

Thanks everyone! I picked this baby out of the clutch that was available from a friend because of the reduced amount of black on the shell. Im hoping its very light as an adult.

As for lighting, natural sunlight on a semi-cloudy day is always best. Bright sunlight will make the image too bright. You can also shoot in a little shade but still using natural sunlight.

Im using a Kodak z710 point and shoot digital camera. I set the macro to close up shots. The pics are actually taken a little further away then they look now and then I crop them down closer to the subject.

My camera stabilizes the image for me so even if my hand is a little shaky it turns out ok.

Beautiful color. You must be very proud. Take a TON of pictures while their young because they grow FAST
