Baby tortoise shedding

Hello everyone!

So me and my boyfriend got this baby horse field tortoise a few weeks ago and when we got him we noticed that he seems to be shedding a lot around his neck… the skin had been slowly peeling off but I just want to ask you guys to make sure he is all good?

I’ll post a few pics they are not the best but I can take some more tomorrow morning

Been giving him baths to help him shed it off, I just hope he will be able to shed that off himself
