It's been almost 3 years since my 2 month old red foot tortoise passed away. Today we got an almost 4 year old Greek tortoise and I'm so excited for this adventure, his name is Frankie

Welcome glad to see you back in the game. If one of those fixtures is a CFL (coil type) for UVB get rid of it. It is hard on their eyes. Get a flouresnt tube type UVB. There is a HO light that is available and some of the members swear by them. Look at Zoomed or Arcadia.

None of them are coil! Our UVB light is zoomed (I believe) thanks!
