My baby was attacked by an older sibling. Just a warning to those keeping their babies together. I had 3 babies in the same pen and today at noon i found this one with his eye missing.
Has anyone ever had this happen?

Sorry to hear that. I have witnessed aggression from bigger tortoises to smaller ones before. Now I only keep tortoises that are the same size together and even then these sort of things can happen.

Really awful, terrible shame, hope the poor little thing adapts and doesn't get infected or anything.
As long as the other eye's ok I guess it can still have a happy life.
Good luck.

Good luck with the recovery! How much larger was the aggressor?

I had that happen with baby box turtles. Luckily it was only the shell the other ate part of, not an eye.

So far he is doing well. No sign of infection and he is eating again.
On another note, I have 2 babies to sell.
