Badly taken care of

Hi ,
I have 4 large male sulcata 3 almost over 100 pounds
Started with one and have rescued the other three .
saw a little girl sulcata in yard who's mouth
Was discolored dark almost like she had been eating mud .
When I got one of my big guys he had mouth rot and was
Treated by the vet .all mine were in terrible condition when I got them
Question I think my vet along with antibiotics had me wash around his mouth
With Bernadine . The owner has no interest in taking her to the vet . Any suggestions

Are you sure she has mouth rot? Could the discolor be from just drinking or something she ate?

eating grass causes dark stains on the mouth as well..
can you post pictures of your 'saves'. love that people do that..
how much space do you have? do they get a long?

Unless you've looked inside the mouth, I doubt its mouth rot. The dark around the outside of the mouth is from what she's been eating...either food or her own poop. If she's been badly cared for chances are pretty good she's been recycling!

Thanks every one . Sorry should introduced myself first my name is patty
I have plenty of room for them. I have a 60 foot long by 3 foot wide garden I plant just for them all sorts of greens and vegetables . We plant tortoise grass a mixture we found on line to graze on all day along with cactus a couple times a week.
I'm not sure the one in question has mouth rot she is shy and wouldn't eat from my hand it just looked dark and mushy around her mouth . Her owner wasn't interested in a vet so not sure what I could do
I'm very lucky I have no problems with any of them getting along could be because they have plenty of space to stay out of each others way .
I will post pictures of them as soon as I figure out how
