I know that Hermann’s tortoises cannot be fed the banana fruit, but I’m trying to find out if the banana LEAVES are suitable for them. I have a banana plant outdoors, so I’ve got a ready source.
(The Tortoise Table only addresses the fruit, not the leaf-)🤷🏼‍♀️

I feed very large banana leaves to our Sulcata. Have been for years. It’s basically a big grass leaf. Feed away!
I wasn't sure that any tortoise liked them.
My RF completely ignore banana leaves. So the issue for some might be IF they'll eat them.

Yeah- that’s my issue with Elsa: she’s very particular about what she eats. She’s faked me out several times: ate some hosta leaves once, and some mulberry, so I bought a bunch of plants, and she’s never touched them again!
