Beak trouble

hello everyone I apologize for not being active in awhile school takes up much of my time. I received a hatchling sulcata tortoise in July and she has been doing well ever since and she is slowly beginning to grow and eat more. Though she is doing well I am noticing something strange happening around her mouth and I wanted to know if this is normal. It seems dis colored almost like she has warn away scales around her mouth her are some pictures. Is this normal? Before about a month ago her whole mouth area was orange or the light brownish color you see over her eyes. I know it's probably not serious but I am very curious. If anyone has any suggestions please comment!
