Hi,
I would like to add some variety to my yearling turtle's diet (consisting of earthworms, mealworms, waxworms, crickets and reptomin) by adding another pellet. What is the most nutritious one that you have used that box turtles will eat?
Your help is appreciated,
Ben

It has been my experience that they will not eat these pellets. I have tried many different ones and I always just go back to fresh fruits and veggies. Tomatoes, cucumber, fig, strawberry, etc..,

The only pellet I've ever used is reptomin. I soak it, mash it, and mix it all over a large "salad".

I've tried a couple of box turtle pellets. They don't like them.

I used Reptomin mainly. But on occassion I will give them commercial catfish chow. My adults eat it more readily than the younger ones. ALthought I do have two yearlings who eat it just like they do the reptomin
