I have been up and down google, here and other places and cant seem to find an exact detail of tems, humidity, substrate depth, best way to heat, water dishes ect ect.

Right now i have them basking at 90 with an overall temp at around 80 with cypress much mixed with peat about 3" deep. humidity around %60.
I will be switching over to a MVB bulb shortly and go with a CHE for the night time but room temps dont drop below 73 and im not sure what thier cool side can be at for the lowest range.
Also do you all supply a water pan? Soak them or mist often?
Ive heard they like it humid but not redfoot humid OR they are arid dry grassland types and those are completely diffrent sides of the scale?
I dont tend to use heat tape or pads but should i with them?
Also do they require alot of hides as ive read they will always hide and even not eat?

I just want to give them the best I can and i trust a true star keeper over blanketed care sheets any day... I just dont know any others up here i can talk to.
Thanks a bunch :)
