Black spots on tongue help

Hello guys!

I need your help, actually Shelldon needs your help. I recently noticed black spots on his tongue. Does anyone know what it may be from?

It almost looks like dirt. It looks raised off of the tongue. My opinion. Can you soak him and see if they go away or move? Maybe give him cucumber or cactus?

I thought that too, so when he opened his mouth I tried scraping it off with the celery and nothing changed. I have recently given him cucumber as well. It’s been this way for maybe 3-4 days now.

Have you seen ticks on him or in the enclosure? Maybe mouth rot? I'm not trying to scare you but help?
