Carl ( cdmay ) sent me a couple of his 'keeper' hatchlings in early '05.
He asked me to see how they have grown.. specifically the plastron and front legs. They were both males. So I took a few pics of the one I have kept ( please don't ask why I let someone talk me out of the other one - BIG mistake ).
I tried to get a 'front' shot but he wouldn't stand still.. should have offered a few dandelions - so I had to pick him up!

Is this an example of good "blood"? good husbandry? or both?
