box turtle hibernation, any thoughts?

So, it's that time again. Cold snap came on tonight but today my turtles were still out bathing and eating and digging around.
My oldest, Sophia was sick all through June but had a total comeback for the rest of summer.
Now today and yesterday her left eye is all gummy and cloudy again. Not sure if I should let her hibernate or if I should move her inside this winter. Guess we're goin back to the vet.

I would give you a big vote for moving her inside and keep her completely regulated for winter....it is imperative a tort/turtle is in prime health for brumation....

I agree with Angela, no hibernating for that girl this winter and yes a vet visit is a good idea now before it gets worse.
