Hey guys, so I bought this Russian Tortoise a few days ago, was told it was a female (paid $30 extra for female) but I am thinking it might be a male. Not sure if this chart is accurate or not and it’s in another language so idk what the words say but it’s clear that one picture is male and other female. Here’s a picture of my tortoise, what do you think?

It looks male from the photos, but it would be better and more readily determinable if you could take a picture that shows the same view of the tortoise that the diagram shows. IE, take a picture of the bottom of the tortoise and be sure you don't cut off the lower part (show the entire tail).

You should ask for your $30 back.

Thanks for all the input everyone!! Here’s a picture of his underside, and I definitely think he’s a boy! Going to name him Darwin ?

Thanks for taking the new photo. It confirms that the animal does appear to be a male.
