Has anyone bred Home's ? If so, what is the courtship behavior? One of mine mounted the other and gaped the mouth (no sound). This it did repeatly and followed around smelling rear.

I have :D No real elaborate courtship. My male just went to town mounting the female. He would though move his tail quite a bit when he was mounted on the female.

Hi Larry,
I've had the same mating and courtship behavior, I haven't had any eggs yet. I think mine need another year or so cycling through the seasons, in captivity. I'm hoping next year getting them outside will help. During mounting there was a bit of noise, but not near the volume of other species. The rear end sniffing also occurs. Most of the mating seems to occur after I rain the habitat.

Be well
