I have purchased the Broadleaf Tortoise Forage Blend from etsy 3 times, and I seem to end up with mostly chicory.

My tortoise loves clovers so I was looking for clover seeds and came across the Buck Forage Plot Mix Seeds, also on etsy. The webpage states that the Buck Forage Plot Mix contains:
• 30% Crimson Clover
• 30% Ladino Grazing Clover
• 30% Arrowleaf Clover
• 10% Alfalfa
Is this mix safe for hermann tortoises?

Also, for any of you that have successfully grown the Broadleaf Mix, how do you cut the plants for them to continue growing? It seems each pot only lasts one round for me and the plants don't grow back after I cut them. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Below are the links to the two seed mixes for reference:

Thank you :)

Yea it is safe for tortoises, but not my choice. I would recommend Broadleaf Testudo Mix from tortoise supply.com. It is best seed mix out there, grows quickly, inexpensive for the amount you get, and a good variety for your tort with plenty of clovers and no grass. This seems a bit pricey. I grow this stuff for my Russians and it grows back in a few days, and I do not cut everything back so I can just alternate. https://www.tortoisesupply.com/TestudoMix

I tried using the broadleaf mixes from Etsy and Amazon and they are pricey, you do not get a lot, and die within a week or two.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just made an order from Tortoise Supply. I was able to order a clover mix from them too!
