Hello,
I am building my first Russian Tortoise outdoor enclosure. I was wondering if anyone could reccomend a safe product to apply to the wood to help protect it from the elements and whether I should only apply it on the outside or is it okay to apply it to the inside as well.
Thank you

A water based spar urethane works well. If you want to stain and protect the wood, you can use the Behr water based exterior stain. OK to use on the inside.
Others will weigh in as well. Whatever you choose, let it air out for a few days or longer until the fumes are gone.
