Hi,
I have had a hatchling Hermanns for about 2 weeks now. He is eating well, and pooping every day when he soaks. The enclosure temp is 95 and humidity (with a spray of water every few hours) is at around 60.
My problem is, he doesn't seem to be too active during the day...he mostly hides in the substrate, with his shell and head exposed under the UVB light. He normally stays like this for hours, and if he is hungry, will walk over to the feeding dish. Is this normal for a baby? I thought he might be scared still, but I am not sure.
Also, when would it be a good time to introduce Mazuri into his diet?
