Cactus. Gotta love them.

Pulled this cactus pad to set aside to plant and it grew another pad in 1 week… just sitting on a bench.

Few years back, I had some to plant. I left them just lay for a while until I could get to them. I had one grow another small pad. Was very happy. So I planted them. Kinda wish I hadn't. I did get some knew pads, but not as big and never really grew much once the pad first popped out. They might have done better if I just left them unplanned.

They frustrate me so much....evidently the little red foot doesn't think much about them either because look at what he did the other day to the one that grows in that pen right there...

Holy crap! Poor cactus! Mine are used to our hotter than hell weather so they look plump and nice still.
