My one year old leopard eats calcium like its a main course. I give him a choice of how much calcium he wants for intake at his will, by making some kind of calcium form available at all times.
As he was devouring a Zoomed calcium tortoise block I looked at the ingredients.
Its calcium sulfate, not calcium carbonate. I thought calcium carbonate was a preferred form of calcium for reptiles. As he eats lots of it, is calcium sulfate ok?
