California native grass mix for leopard

I'm from Southern California.
Has anyone tried the California native grass mix seeds from home depot to feed grass eating tortoises?
I have a leopard and a burmese star

Don't use anything from a hardware store. Only use grass seed from a feed store or on-line source that is intended for grazing pasture animals. Hardware store grass seed has all sorts of wired stuff in it and done to it. It is not intense to be eaten.

I've done side-by-side comparisons over the last few years with all sorts of grass mixes. None performs better than this one:
