I guess so long as you get to see them, it won't really matter.
They are doing fine, and I'm beginning to believe the one I named "Sweetie" is a boy! He has a thicker tail, now, than "Snappy" does. Thicker and blunter. Any ideas about that? Snappy's tail is whip-like past her cloaca, but Sweetie's Is not.

No, not yet. His carapace is barely 4 inches long, but I'll bet they'll start growing longer, soon, though!

I've studied pictures like this, before, and studied someones' personal observations on the developing male RES, too. I think Sweetie is a boy, but only more time passing will tell for sure.
