number 2 in the red pot looks like standard Aloe vera...the other one I'm not sure, but you are correct, I think, in IDing it as an Aloe: why don't you google search Aloe and troll through the species listings for image searches until you find a match?

There are over 300 species of aloe. Sorry, I don't know their names.

Yvonne, are any of them toxic, that you are aware of? I have at least three types.

All aloe contains Saponins, which in mammals cause vomiting, depression, diarrhea, anorexia, tremors, change in urine color. It doesn't seem to have any ill effects on tortoises other than causing loose stools.

For as feeding kale the aloe plant in the red pot- his mood afterwards... First two times he absolutely loved it and practically inhaled it literally. Third time he denied eating it completely- as for his stool, it never got runny or any diff... Although he has been kind of moody? Like not as hungry and kinda antsy... Idk if its the cause of his new home or anything at all... Just thought id let you kno- i have not offered any more of the aloe plant since
