It eats very little, never falls ill, and stays small. In fact, it's so shy it never moves. ;)
It's a pretty little resin statue. I wish I had a house full of these for all the species I'll never keep. Lol.

The plough share tortoise, to my knowledge, can not be legally obtained by the casual tortoise keeper. They are extremely rare and endangered and only come from a small area of Madagasgar. There are people on here who have them. Most, I believe, are in the east Asian countries and the Philipines / Indonesia.
The resign statue in this picture can be bought online.

Taipang zoo may have some. The statue can be bought sure. I believe live specimens may be purchased as well in malayasia but they are still illegal internationally. They're are some breeders in that part of the world.mid recommend getting into something less endangered and starting off with a good starter tortoise.

It is perfectly legal to buy them if you can find a captive breeder willing to sell you one. Since there are no captive breeders here yet, you won't find one. Once they are successfully reproduced, it is still not likely they will be available to the public due to their scarcity.
