Can my Guinea pigs give my Tort Mites

I have just worked out my Guinea pigs have mites, They are in the same room as my Tortoise but at opossite ends of the room. Can the Mites on the Piggies infect my Tortoise or would they not go for her like they would not feed off me?

Thank for that info. I have treted my piggies and their area today. I gave them a good inspection and could not find the mites so i am not sure if they had them but ther behavour suggests they had them. I inspected Shelby and she looks ok too, but will keep a close eye on her.
