These Cactus grow on my property in Colorado. If I were to de-spike this cactus, can my sulcata eat it?? On a for sure pesticides free land, would just hate to kill them if they can be of a better use.

If i were you, id look for some spineless cactus and get those growing there. It doesn’t take long and you will have some great pads.
To answer your question: Yes, that is a type of opuntia and safe to feed to your tortoise. Not worth the considerable effort in my opinion. The juice is not worth the squeeze. And you will be in terrible pain if you attempt it. That I can guarantee. These Cactus grow on my property in Colorado. If I were to de-spike this cactus, can my sulcata eat it??
