Hello @Yvonne G and other member:

Can Sulcata eat this plant? My wife said our little pig eat some of this plant this afternoon. Are this safe for torts?

Calla lilies are toxic to mammals, however it seems tortoises are able to digest this type of plant with no ill effects. I would err on the side of caution and not allow them to eat too much of it.

I agree with Yvonne.
All Aroids are protected with crystals of oxalic acid in a form called raphides. The potency varies between species, but all of them cause burning and a degree of irritation to the mouth and digestive system of any animal. Needless to say, this group of plants is high in oxalates.
