I have been asked to sell two small Cherryheads (3 years old) to someone that currently holds two Iguana Iguana's in a large terrarium. They want to keep them in the same enclosure, and as they both originates from (nearly) the same area in South America, and have approx the same needs for humidity, they think that this will work out well ?

But I have heard that Iguanas can be very "territorialistic" and that they can attack tortoises ?

Has anyone some good pieces of advice or experience in this matter ?

Please advice

Wouldn't risk it with 3 year olds. Some zoos I've been to have done it successfully with adult reds, but iguanas are massive compared to reds. The good news I guess is that habitat is similar, and diet is very similar as well, but it would only work IMO in a very large outdoor enclosure

i wouldn't chance it but that's just me iguana's can be aggressive with a strong tail to whip with and a even stronger bite
