Looks like a female to me, as that tortoise has a short tail. Most males would have a longer tail and a broader “design” on their plastron.

Sorry about the slippers😂
What difference does it make if it is a male or female to me 🤔do I have to do anything different?

YES. Males are a little more aggressive, and while they are usually pretty fine in their own, please never put them with a female (unless you’re looking to be a parent) or together with another male, as fighting and serious injuries can happen.

No “she”will always be an only child. So will it still make a difference? Sorry if I sound stupid!
