I just got a small Cape Honeysuckle, Tecomaria capensis, and I want to know which parts are edible. I think the flowers are okay, but what about the leaves? On one internet site it said handling the plant could cause skin irritation.

Dunno about the cape version, The Tortoise Table site lists:

Common name : Honeysuckle
Latin name : Lonicera spp.
Family name : Caprifoliaceae

Flowers are fine in moderation, but the berries are toxic and the leaves high in saponin.
