It willbe two weeks today since I adopted a Central American Wood turtle,Rhinoclemmys Pulcherrima Manni :D
I was initially going to adopt an ornate boxie(or so I thought I was),but the previous owner misinformed me so I was alittle unprepared for it. But I got everything down now.
S/he is in terrible shape. Looks underweight, carapace is pealing drastically, & dehydrated. I did have a tough time getting it to eat considering it was fed nothing but artificial box turtle food(cubed jello substance ) so I just mixed it with spring mix. I will slowly decrease the jello food.
I am not sure of the sex and would love it if somone could do that for me.

Your picture link doesn't work for me.

This is one of the better sites for care sheets, however, they are not eyeball friendly. I have a hard time reading them, but the info is good:

Thanks, Meg. I tried but couldn't figure out what was wrong. Two IMG's at the beginning, huh?

Ornate wood turtles aren't big greens eater Abe :p Proteins and fruit are mainly what they eat. A good prepared food helps too.
That's normal for the carapce of Ornate wood turtles if they are kept to dry. They need to be fairly humid.
She doesn't look to bad to me. :)

Hey danny(or anyone else!!), I am only having trouble getting her to eat worms...it's like the wiggling doesn't attract her! Isn't it almost a natural instinct to grub on them???
Any advice is appreciated.
So far I've only tried wax worms. Should I try nightcrawlers? Or will I get the same results?
