My tortoise hasn't been eating much lately, and I'm not sure why.
He tends to have only a small nibble after his morning soak, and then sleeps for the rest of the day.
Last time he ate properly was about 2 weeks ago. Since then the only thing that may have changed is that the weather has gotten hotter. However previously it seemed he ate more and was more active on hotter days.
As far as I can see everything is fine with him and the enclosure. When soaking he seems active enough, and his movements are never sluggish.
The enclosure temperatures are about 83f at the hot end, 80f at the "cool" end. I can't seem to achieve a cooler temperature than this. Humidity tends to hang around 70%.
I feed him frisee, lambs lettuce, radicchio, and occasionally kale, rocket, and komodo "tortoise diet".
My tortoise is about 2.5 years old, and is a Greek Spur-thighed.
