Cheapest place for mazuri?

Anyone know a cheap site to order mazuri. 25lb or 50lb? I order off of chewy 25lb for 50$ with shipping. If anyone knows better plz let me know. Thanks

Most local feed stores will carry Mazuri as it is a Purina Mills product. If they don't have it, they can order it any time I have asked. I get it for about $30 there. I do have a commercial account with Mazuri, but even with my discount, when I add shipping, the feed store is less expensive.

My local feed store (Griffs) has the 25lb bags for $47 in Davie Florida.
It's on the high side.
But it's usually in stock.

Mazuri Tortoise Diet, (SKU: 0001474, Formula Number: 5M21)

There are a couple of other ones in the catalog that can be mistaken for this one, but this is the one you want.

Call around all your feed stores near you and ask them how much it would be to order a 25lb bag for you. I have literally over 15 feed stores within a 2 mile radius from me. I get my bags for $30 but have to wait a couple weeks to get them.

The low starch formulation has less sugars in it than the original formula, and is likely better for the tortoise, but many won't touch it.

I use a plastic Nutrimax dog food container. It holds most of a 25 lb. bag. Anything larger is awkward for me. Not sure how animals you feed. The lid screws on securely.

I use a few plastic screw on lid containers, i guess five. Fill all these containers up and store them away. Good air tight containers & the Mazuri is fine for a long long time - many months of storage.

Even at $50 for 25lbs for the 5M21...
That's two bucks a pound.
And that's still plenty cheap compared to buying it repackaged on Ebay.
