hello, this is my first post in this forum. I am new here. I have always had aquatic species so this is my first testudo hermanni hermanni. I have cherry trees in my garden and he was roaming around and I think he ate 3 cherries including the pits. It was very fast. I have read they can eat cherries on occasion but without the pits. What should I do now?

It probably will pass uneventfully, hopefully! If it was small enough to fit down the throat, it is more than likely small enough to go through the digestive tract and out the cloaca. Until you see the pits come out in the poop, feed him wet food. You can give him his normal greens, but also add things like cucumber, aloe vera, etc. so a lot of moisture goes in along with the foods, and it will help flush out the pits.

This may turn out to be a problem for you. Can you fence off the cherry tree so he can't eat the cherries anymore?
