I went on vacation and brought back a fake tortoise. It's brightly colored so I placed it in the living room
next to my plants. My chihuahua, Charley is in love with it. She protects it from the other dogs and will sleep next to it. I have placed it next to her to show her it in not real, but she doesn't seem to care. I will try to get picture of the two of them together.
