Hi! So my baby tortoise, Goblin, has been climbing up his logs, both the big and small one. When I notice it, I take him off because I am afraid that he will fall. One day I noticed him near the log upside down (on his shell.) I don't want this to happen again, but if it does, will he be able to get up? If not, how can I stop this?

Thanks!! :D

Hi. From what I've read, you shouldn't have anything within an enclosure that could topple your baby tort over. They usually right themselves when they are older, but tiny ones often struggle. It is particularly dangerous if they topple under a heat source as they can overheat and dehydrate.

Hopefully someone with more experience will also respond!

Thank you so much!

Master Oogway could not climb his log at first either and now he can. Same thing he fell over so the log is now gone as I did not want to worry about him (which I did) while I was gone.

I think I will replace my logs too :)
