Cohabitation of a florida box and red foot tortise

Well, they do take the same sort of environment, however, I would never mix species. Also, the box turtle might bite the tortoise. They are pretty aggressive.
Not a good idea ever to mix species. Even if they lived in the same area in the wild, the wild offers more room then any one of us can.

Neither species Is a pack animal. Both are solitary. Neither want or need a roommate.

Never mix species, and neither tortoises nor box turtles should ever live in pairs.
Other Florida box turtles of the correct sex ratio can cohabitate with a Florida box turtle in a large naturalistic outdoor enclosure. That would be awesome!
Yes I would be scared the red foot would get bitten.
