With the intro of red foot number 10 I had to get phase 2 done and attached.
the first pen is 8 foot by 3.5 feet and the second is 12 feet by 4 feet and all connected :)
They are motoring around like crazy now that there is so much more to turn over and wreck.
Its all skinned with coroplast and has a lid to hold in heat and humidity.
What do you guys think?

That is awesome! Great job, I really like it. Would you be willing one day to do a step by step process on how you build the enclosure itself? As far as the actual tank is concerned. I like how they look.

Hi Mel:

Well, now all you have to do is put a shelf under it, and add doors and sides (on the bottom) and it makes a great piece of furniture/conversation piece in the room. Wow! All the room they have now. Good job!

That a really interesting set up, they have lots of space and they can be busy watching the world outside of their place too.

Great idea for an enclosure that looks really good too.

I absolutely love this. What a great idea. Are all of your RF's in there? I was wondering what I was going to do for winter months...now I have some ideas to consider. Thanks

Thanks everyone :)
Im going to put a skirt around it like I do with my aquarium stands so I can stash stuff under it.
I can piece together a walk through pretty soon as I have to build a few more for friends already and Ill take pics of the steps.
I wish i could make a second level on it for them as well but I dont think they would use ramps that steep.... There is maybe 1 good month for them outdoors up here and I would have to bring em in almost every night So I have to give em the most room I can afford to loose in my house

Why not use the bottom for another enclosure. I know you said you thought a ramp would be too steep, so why not a totally separate bottom enclosure and split up the herd?

I do like your surround sound tortoise speakers. :D
