Concerns about stickers in sulcatas enclosure

No, I don't think field madder has stickers. I've suggested sticky willy because it does have stickers. Here's a close-up look where you can see the actual stickery balls on the plant:

This is sticky Willy that I pulled up and laid on top of the burrweed.

I saw that the weed itself was what was sharp and was referred to as burrs or similar way of saying it. Some plants in south USA are called burrweed or similar even if they don't have actual burrs. Does that make sense? I'm a bit sleeps today and my brain fog is strong. But, I hope I still got the thought across properly. I gotta nap and try yo get feeling better.
