Couple devastated by theft of late daughter's tortoises! :'(

That's really too bad. You just have to be so darned careful about who you allow the knowledge of tortoises in your backyard.
One reason its so attractive to thieves is due to the fact that owners over-inflate the price of them when talking about them. There's no way that those two tortoises are worth 2,000 pounds.

i was thinking the same about the 2,000£$
It is so sad that people have to be secretive about owning tortoises in order to save them from thieves. Hope these two will turn up and be returned.
