I'm assuming this is a wild turtle? She's so lucky to live in their area. I'd love it if there were wild turtles and tortoises wandering around in my area!

Yes Y, wild...... she spied him while she was cleaning out her shed. We found another crossing the road near her last summer so they are around.

She said that he soaked for maybe ten minutes, didn't eat the offered ham then went to the woods line and began digging into cover. I reminded her that now that we know, we have to be more careful mowing!
