I just got this young male sulcata. Hes pretty healthy my enclosure is 10 by 10 for now he is about 11 inches long and they said he was 5 years old. Im building a larger enclosure for when he gets bigger. Ive been told that tin is a good way to go. Do i need to rush and put him in something bigger or is the 10 by 10 good enough for a while.

It's not nearly big enough, but will do until you can expand it. You'll know when he starts getting ansy to get out and keeps trying to climb the walls. That's the time for a bigger area. Try to get some grass planted in the new area prior to his occupation, because he won't allow the grass to grow unless it's well established.

My 110lb sulcata, Dudley, lives quite comfortably in a yard roughly 64' x 40'. I never have to mow. He keeps it trimmed.

(the center fence on the right has since been demolished):
