For the record, I'm pretty sure that that word has never entered into any of my posts. (Though some posts have been cute.) And certain posters are also cute.

Honestly, can anyone say that a tortoise is actually cute? (I'll stop with that word now.) Seriously. Mine are just NOT. Even the baby.
Maybe BEFORE I saw one of them eat a dead rat..............
I'm with Will.

Well I don't ever use the word cute. Nice looking fellers. Are these offspring of your adults or added specimens to the collection?

OMG YES. My Tatum is so stinking cute and I tell him that all the time. Of course my other ones are too, but not as cute as my Tatum:p:D

These torties are also CUTE, but not as cute as my Tatum:p:D

How can you take a look at that face and not say, "Aw-w-w-w...how cute!!!"

I don't think Will was asking for other 'cute' photos, folks. This is the Egyptian Forum.

I just wanted an excuse to post images of neonate Egyptians, not from my breeding group. I found an otherwise untapped source of F1's from WC animals, so got a couple so I don't end up with inbreeding. I don't know the consequences of inbreeding with chelonians, it's probably not appropriate to apply mammal standards, but diversity is a good thing. I find their antics cute, like the way a kitten plays, but I don't think they look cute, like they way a kitten does.

Yvonne is right, post your Egyptian images here in the Egyptian tortoise area, leo's already have lots of space elsewhere on TFO, as do frankly most other species. Maybe one of you want to post a cute photo contest or something (all species) elsewhere on TFO?

I don't think Egyptians are particularly homely, some have a rich orange colored skin around the neck and head, some have very interesting symmetrical markings on the carapace. To me one of the most beautiful species are well marked Kinixys erosa. @tortadise posted some that just blew me away. Some impressa are spectacular as well.
